QuoteMyDetail ("we", "us", or "our") provides a business-to-business quoting platform for mobile auto detailers in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our website and services.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to detailers who create accounts with us ("Business Users") and to information about their end customers that Business Users upload or generate through quotes ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data on behalf of Business Users as a service provider.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, business name, phone number, password hash, and billing status.
- Quote and job data: vehicle descriptions, service selections, pricing, notes, and approval status.
- Photos: vehicle images uploaded for quoting. Images may contain metadata such as capture date or location if present in the file.
- Usage data: pages viewed, feature usage, device/browser type, IP address, and timestamps for security and product analytics.
- Payment data: subscription status and transaction references. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the quoting platform.
- Generate AI-assisted quote drafts from photos and notes (pricing always comes from the Business User catalog).
- Process subscriptions and send essential service emails.
- Measure product usage with server-side analytics that avoid end-customer PII.
- Comply with law and respond to valid requests.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to:
- Service providers under contract, including cloud hosting and storage, payment processing (Dodo Payments), email delivery, and AI model providers used to analyze vehicle photos.
- Business Users who control Customer Data submitted through their account.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Successors in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We honor the Do Not Sell or Share choice and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where applicable.

Other U.S. state privacy rights

Data retention and security
We retain account and quote data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, billing records, and legal compliance. We use encryption in transit, access controls, tenant isolation, and monitoring appropriate to the data we process.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International users
We operate in the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., you understand that information may be processed in the U.S.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above.
